free health screenings and entertainment

Whatever you choose, the annual Methodist Hospital Health
Fair on Saturday, May 5, offers a good time for the entire
family. Running from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., it's a full day of
free fun, education and entertainment.
With entertainment including the Avalon String Band, a Children's
Talent Contest and Cozy Morley and the Carmen Dee Orchestra,
and health screenings including cholesterol and glucose screening;
head, neck and mouth evaluations; foot exams; PSA testing
to determine prostate cancer risk; and blood pressure checks
by health professionals from Methodist and Thomas Jefferson
University Hospitals, this is certainly a day for the whole
family.
Local personality Bob Pantano will be taping throughout the
day for "Happenings," his television program. Family
activities include soft pretzels, balloon sculpture, ice cream
sundaes, cookie decorating, face painting, pictures with cartoon
characters and more.
