Methodist’s Emergency Department also offers the benefits of:
- 24-hour/7-day-a-week care
- Comfortable waiting area with a private area to speak to the triage nurse
- More private examining rooms
- On-site, dedicated X-ray and CT machines for more rapid testing and diagnosis
- Five Fast Track rooms for diagnosis and care of relatively routine emergencies (available 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., 7 days a week)
Patients with serious traumatic injuries are stabilized and transferred to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, a designated Level 1 Regional Resource Trauma Center.
