Renovated in 2008, the Department of Radiology at Methodist Hospital offers advanced diagnostic imaging services in a comfortable, modern setting. Located on the second floor of the hospital, the department provides a new waiting area, men’s and women’s semi-private changing rooms with cable television, and private registration.

The Department of Radiology offers a complete range of diagnostic imaging and interventional capabilities – including the convenience and added comfort of the Women’s Diagnostic Center, a Center of Excellence where women can go for annual screenings and other tests.

All of our imaging capabilities are fully digital. Assisted by state-of-the-art voice recognition software, Methodist’s radiologists are able to read each patient’s images immediately – with reports being automatically printed and sent via mail or fax to the ordering physician. Additionally, if the ordering physician is an affiliate of Jefferson and has access to the picture archiving communications system (PACS), they can simply view the patient’s report and images online.

Obtaining a Copy of Your Images
For a copy of your images, please call 215-952-9388. Images are provided on CD-ROM, complete with viewing software. Mammograms require two business days notice and other tests require at least one. Film images can only be provided under special circumstances.
