At Jefferson, our goals are to provide you with quality health care and restore you to good health. You will be treated as an individual and receive services without discrimination. You also have the right to participate in decisions about your care.

Jefferson is a teaching hospital and we take a team approach to providing care. So, in addition to your primary physician, you will also meet students and medical residents, registered nurses, nursing assistants, respiratory therapists, social workers and dieticians. You can identify our staff members by their Jefferson ID badge, which displays their photo, name and department.

We want you to feel at home at Jefferson. All of our patient rooms are temperature controlled, with free Wi-Fi, TV, phone and private closets or dressers to store your belongings.

All of your meals will be delivered to your bedside. Unless your physician has ordered special meals for you, you can pick and choose exactly what you want from the menu.

In addition, you have access to interpreter services, mail and notary services and pastoral care.

During your stay, we want you to feel safe and sound. Our security officers continuously patrol the Hospital and campus day and night.

You are in good hands at Jefferson.
