Gregory J. Artz, M.D., Joins the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Jefferson
Gregory
J. Artz, M.D., recently joined the Department of Otolaryngology – Head
and Neck Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, and was named
an assistant professor at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson
University. Dr. Artz specializes in hearing, balance and facial nerve
disorders. He is also specialty trained in skull base surgery and the
treatment of acoustic neuromas, meningiomas and glomus tumors.
Dr.
Artz received his medical degree in 2001 from Wayne Statue University
in Detroit, Michigan. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in
military history from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 1995.
Continuing his medical training in Michigan, Dr. Artz, completed a
fellowship in Neurotology-Skull Based Surgery in 2008 at the Michigan
Ear Institute at Providence Hospital in Southfield, and Beaumont
Hospital in Royal Oak. Dr. Artz completed a one-year general surgery
internship and his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at
Thomas Jefferson University Hospital from 2001 – 2006.
Dr. Artz is board certified in Otology, Neurotology and Skull base surgery.
Dr. Artz resides in Narberth, Montgomery, PA.
