Drs. Pestell and Wagner Talk About Running for a Cause in Runner's World
Jefferson's Dr. Richard Pestell is an avid runner and former national-class distance runner. In the July issue of Runner's World, Dr. Pestell offers up some great comments about running for a cause in the cover story, "Outrunning Cancer."
The story is about the running community's ability to raise millions of dollars each year to fight cancer.
Jefferson medical oncologist John Wagner, MD, also a runner, was mentioned in the article as well, saying that he trained so hard for a marathon once that he required hip surgery.
