Dr. Oshinsky in NBC 10 Interview About Alcohol-Induced Headaches

Michael Oshinsky, PhD, neurologist at Jefferson, offers preventative measures for alcohol-induced headaches in an NBC 10 interview. He recommends taking ibuprofen or aspirin after drinking. The amount of alcohol consumed helps determine when the painkillers should be taken.

The next morning, Dr. Oshinsky recommends "a stiff cup of coffee." Also, because alcohol is dehydrating, he stresses the importance of drinking lots of water.
