Chronic migraine headaches are a very serious disease due to their frequency and severity. They are often completely debilitating and impact patients' quality of life. Migraines can be triggered by many factors including caffeine, alcohol and stress.
In a Courier Post interview, Dr. William Young, neurologist of the Jefferson Headache Center, explains the four main steps he uses to determine how to control the pain when his patients first come in for a visit. One of these steps includes recognizing potential triggers.
