Dr. Bazzan Discusses How Diet Can Play a Role in Managing PMS on NBC 10
Low levels of certain nutrients can be the cause of many common PMS symptoms, including menstrual cramps and headaches. Dr. Anthony Bazzan, co-director of the Great Life Program at the Jefferson-Myrna Brind Center of Integrative Medicine, says there's a simple way to say goodbye to PMS.
In an interview with NBC 10, Dr. Bazzan says, "If you do change your diet in a consistent fashion, there will be big changes." This includes a sufficient intake of calcium, magnesium and vitamin B6.
