Dr. Doghramji Discusses the Benefits of Napping in WomensDay.com Interview
Experts recommend that adults get about 7 to 8 hours of sleep, but for people who are unable to do so, napping during the day is a great option.
In a WomansDay.com interview, Dr. Karl Doghramji, medical director of the Jefferson Sleep Disorders Center, gives recommendations for creating a nap-friendly zone: "Nap in a bed, if you can. But if not, a comfortable lounge chair is better than putting your head down at your desk."
He also suggests napping in a dark, quiet room with a comfortable temperature.
