Jefferson Neurologist on KYW Newsradio About Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords' Emotional Appearance
Jefferson neurologist Mijail Serruya, MD, PhD, spoke with KYW Newsradio about Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords' appearance on the House floor during the debt ceiling bill vote.
Dr. Serruya was surprised to learn of Giffords' appearance but did notice that she still showed some sign of being shot in the head less than seven months ago. "She waved with her left hand, from the side of her brain not touched by the bullet," explained Dr. Serruya.
