Jefferson Clinical Trial for Occipital Nerve Stimulator Featured on the Today Show
Ron Riegner is a Jefferson patient and member of Dr. Stephen Silberstein's clinical trial for a new device, an occipital nerve stimulator.
Featured on the Today Show, Mr. Riegner participated in Dr. Silberstein's clinical trial because of his frequent migraines. A small pack was implanted into his hip, allowing a wire to travel up through the skin into his brain, stimulating the nerve and finally giving him relief.
