Dr. Squires' Presentation at the 6th International AIDS Society Conference Covered by Medscape
Dr. Kathleen Squires, director of the Infectious Diseases Division at Jefferson, attended the 6th International AIDS Society (IAS) Conference on HIV Pathogenesis, Treatment and Prevention to present her research findings from a study.
Dr. Squires told Medscape Medical News that the "main question that this study answers is whether you can keep people maintained without ritonavir."
Ritonavir is not very well tolerated by HIV patients, according to Dr. Squires.
