Since 2008, Jefferson University Hospitals has been designated a Neonatal Centers of Excellence (COE) Network by the Clinical Sciences Institute (CSI) of OptumHealth Care Solutions. Jefferson is only one of two recognized Neonatal COE networks in Philadelphia.
The CSI asks medical centers and programs with proven experience and statistically successful track records to be part of its COE networks.
