Breast Care Coordinator

Our Jefferson Breast Care Coordinator is experienced in breast health and can provide you with information that will help you make your best healthcare decisions.

Whether you have questions about screening, what your test results mean, or what the next step in your care should be, our Jefferson Breast Care Coordinator will assist and guide you through the treatment process.

For those patients who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, the Breast Care Coordinator will assist you during this difficult time. She provides you with:

  • assistance scheduling specialist appointments
  • answers to your questions about your treatment plan
  • referrals to and information about hospital-based and community support groups and services
  • access to information including publications, books, videos and websites on a variety of topics related to breast health and breast cancer
  • resourceful information about wigs, prostheses, classes and support groups
  • assistance communicating your concerns to your healthcare team and family
