Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Thomas Jefferson University operate the Jefferson Kimmel Cancer Center Network (JKCCN), a network
of hospitals in the region dedicated to the furthering of clinical research and education in the prevention, diagnosis and
treatment of cancer. JKCCN was established in 1993 as a partnership between Thomas Jefferson University’s Kimmel Cancer Center
and community hospitals. Through the Kimmel Cancer Center community cancer programs are able to provide their patients access
to hundreds of state-of-the-art cancer prevention and therapeutic clinical research protocols. The JKCCN is the outreach arm
of the Kimmel Cancer Center at Jefferson.
