Viral Hepatitis

Hepatitis A – There is no known association between Hepatitis A and liver cancer.

Hepatitis B – Hepatitis B is a liver disease caused by the hepatitis B virus. Most infections of hepatitis B clear up within one to two months without treatment. However, when the infection lasts more than six months, it can develop into chronic hepatitis B.

Hepatitis C – Hepatitis C is a liver disease caused by the hepatitis C virus (HCV), which is carried in the blood of infected people.
