Skin Cancer

Our researchers have shown that a new vaccine treatment greatly extends the survival of patients with melanoma. It is especially successful with patients whose melanoma has spread to their lymph nodes. And dermatologic surgeons at Jefferson University Hospital are using microsurgery to effectively remove cancerous skin lesions without large incisions.
