Treatment for Testicular Cancer

After a diagnosis of testicular cancer, your doctor may request additional tests to determine whether the cancer has remained in the testes or spread to any other parts of the body.

Diagnostic procedures may include:

  • additional blood tests
  • chest and abdomen X-rays
  • total body CAT scans
  • special X-rays of the kidneys and urinary system and of the lymph nodes and lymph vessels
