Jefferson Chair of Urology Receives National Cancer Institute Achievement Award
(Published 6-19-2003) Urologic oncologist Leonard G. Gomella, M.D., FACS, chair of Urology, Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, recently received the 2003 National Cancer Institute (NCI) Outstanding Achievement Award at the NCI Reception/Awards Ceremony in Chicago. NCI Director Andrew von Eschenbach, M.D., participated in the presentation.
