Anna Tobia, PhD, Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Tobia is a clinical psychologist at the Jefferson-Myrna Brind Center of Integrative Medicine. She has specialty training
in child psychology and offers a unique mind-body approach to children struggling with a wide variety of problems, such as
medical illness, psychological issues, and performance problems. Dr. Tobia also treats families and adults with depression,
anxiety, grief issues, and stress-related disorders.
Dr. Tobia received her doctorate in clinical psychology from St. Louis University, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship
at the University of Florida. In addition, she is certified in Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET), an intervention that combines
psychological principles, physical cues, and elements of Chinese medicine to identify and resolve roadblocks to mental and
physical health. She is also a certified Hypnotherapist, and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
(EMDR). Dr. Tobia has lectured extensively about mind-body health to a number of patient and professional groups. Her primary
goal it to help children and adults free themselves from the constraints to a happier, healthier life.
