Doreen Lafferty, OTR/L, NCBTMB, Massage Therapy

Doreen Lafferty is an expert body worker who combines a variety of modalities including Swedish massage, Aromatherapy, connective tissue massage, Neuromuscular therapy, Craniosacral Therapy (a gentle hands-on treatment modality), Reflexology (stimulation of reflex points in the hands or feet), Shiatsu, Lomi Lomi Massage, and bioenergy work. She individually tailors her massages to facilitate maximum relaxation, reduced pain and enhanced circulation. Doreen has considerable experience using massage therapy on patients with a variety of health issues, including acute pain problems, injury recovery, fibromyalgia, arthritis, cancer related discomfort, and many others.  She also enjoys doing wellness massages to help people release the distress of everyday life.

Ms. Lafferty received her B.S. in Occupational Therapy from Temple University. She completed massage training at The Professional School of Massage in Pennsylvania, and additional training in Craniosacral Therapy and SomatoEmotional Release Technique from the Upledger Institute.  She teaches Aromatherapy to massage therapists, and she currently is a candidate for a Masters Degree in Acupuncture Studies at the Won Institute of Graduate Studies in Glenside, PA.
