Academic Colon and Rectal Surgery Associates, a practice consisting of colorectal surgeons affiliated with Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Jefferson Medical College, provides patients with comprehensive diagnosis of, and care for, colorectal conditions. • Examination of the anus, rectum, and colon.
• Endoscopic examination, including screening, flexible sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy.
• Endoscopic treatment, including removal of polyps.
• Nonsurgical and surgical treatment of hemorrhoids, anal warts, fissures, and fistulas.
• Diagnosis and treatment of constipation and diarrhea.
• Genetic evaluation and counseling for those at risk of inherited colorectal cancers.
