Mission The Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery is dedicated to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders of the colon,
rectum, and anus. The Division has as its mission, the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective medical care with dignity
and compassion. The Division and its members are pledged to provide high quality teaching to fellows, residents, medical students,
allied healthcare personnel, and peers in an encouraging environment. The Division and its members are committed to unbiased
participation in clinical and basic research projects in the field of colon and rectal surgery, colon and rectal diseases
and their treatment, and any fields that bear upon the broad field of colon and rectal health.
