Why volunteer at Jefferson?
Thomas Jefferson University Hospital is one of the oldest medical centers in the Delaware Valley, with the most advanced emergency and trauma center in the area.  Jefferson is nationally known for its care programs in various areas of medicine including, AIDS, cancer, cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, geriatrics, gynecology, musculoskeletal disorders, neurology, orthopaedics, otolaryngology, otolaryngology- head and neck surgery, rehabilitation, rheumatology, transplantation and urology.

You can join this valued team and share your warmth and talents in many ways.  At the same time, you’ll have the opportunity to:

For each four-hour shift, you will receive a free meal, a hospital pharmacy discount and are invited to attend periodic lectures and special events.

What are the hours?
You can volunteer as few as one of two hours per week.  Flexible schedules include daytime, evening and weekend hours.

How old must volunteers be?
The minimum age is 14, there is no maximum age.
