I understand that I will need to be on a liquid diet after my surgery. How long will that last? When Can I get back to real food?

You will need to follow a liquid diet for two weeks after your surgery. After the liquid diet, you will follow a pureed diet for another two weeks. And one month after surgery you will return to regular-consistency foods.
