About Testicular Cancer

Testicular Cancer

While testicular cancer is rare, accounting for only about 1 percent of all cancers in American men, it is one of the most common cancers in young men between the ages of 15 and 34, but also occurs in other age groups. If found early, testicular cancer is almost always curable.

The Department of Radiation Oncology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital offers one of the largest radiation programs for cancer treatment in the Delaware Valley, giving more than 60,000 radiation treatments annually. Offering the most modern, comprehensive cancer therapies currently available, Jefferson’s Department of Radiation Oncology specialists are among the country’s most respected and accomplished professionals.
