About the In Vitro Fertilization Program
A key component of comprehensive fertility services at Jefferson, the In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) Program provides a tertiary level of fertility care for patients untreatable by more routine fertility therapy, and who may have such conditions as significant gamete dysfunction or irreversible fallopian-tube damage.
Our reproductive endocrinologists perform ovulation induction for IVF and for other reasons. The Program also offers embryo cryopreservation, in which your eggs are frozen. In addition, Jefferson fertility experts can now perform various oocyte micromanipulations, such as assisted egg hatching or injection of sperm into eggs. A complete egg donation program and gestational carrier program are also offered.
