With High-Dose Vitamin C

Thomas Jefferson University is enrolling people with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma to participate in a research study to assess the effects of high-dose, intravenous vitamin C on disease progression and quality of life in patients who have failed standard therapies.

Eligible participants will receive approximately three infusions per week for ten weeks. Vitamin C infusions will be administered free of charge.

This study is a joint effort between the Myrna Brind Center of Integrative Medicine and the Kimmel Cancer Center. Primary investigators are Daniel Monti, MD (Principal Investigator), and Joanne Filicko, MD (study oncologist). Thomas Jefferson University IRB #07U.21.

Requirements

Participants must:

  • Have diagnosis of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma
  • Have been treated with one or more standard cancer treatments
  • Be refractory to standard treatment or ineligible for additional standard treatment, as determined by study oncologist
  • Be able to receive infusions three times per week for 10 weeks
