About the Pain Center
If you are experiencing chronic cancer pain, lower back pain or other types of chronic pain conditions, our physicians are prepared to help. The Jefferson Pain Center team provides comprehensive, pain-focused evaluation and treatment of chronic pain. We can assist in managing all aspects of your pain in a caring and supportive environment.
The Center staff, which includes anesthesiologists, psychologists and nurses, is focused on helping you achieve the highest possible level of functionality. Your treatment options include non-narcotic medication management; narcotic management for pain; and anesthesia, such as nerve root block therapy, long-term intraspinal infusions and radiofrequency neurotomy (RFN).
Psychiatric and behavioral pain medicine services are also offered to provide you with emotional and psychological support throughout your treatment.
