If surgery is necessary, outpatients are cared for by dedicated Shoulder and Elbow Center nurses and staff. Inpatients remain on a designated unit in spacious rooms with around-the-clock care from the Center's highly regarded nursing and therapy team.
The Center's anesthesia team is a national leader in acute pain management for shoulder and elbow procedures. Specializing in ultrasound-guided upper extremity regional nerve blocks, the team provides you with prolonged pain relief, while allowing for a more rapid emergence from general anesthesia and fewer side effects.
