Jefferson's Scleroderma Center offers an exceptional level of clinical focus on this prevalent and debilitating disease, as well as on Raynaud's disease and related disorders. Staffed by physicians who are world leaders in their field, the center treats a large patient group with both established medical therapies and experimental treatments. It coordinates the expert evaluation and management of various organ systems that may be affected by scleroderma, as well as the performance of numerous clinical and basic science research projects aimed at discovering the cause of the disease and effective treatments. Jefferson’s Scleroderma Center participates in national and international clinical trials of the latest therapies for the disease, including bone marrow transplantation.
