I recently quit smoking, how soon will the beneficial effects reduce my risks for pancratic cancer? I am concerned because my dad died of this, thank you.
Everyone is different and scientifically this is hard to answer. In short, quit as soon as you can. The less exposure one has the better. One should quit smoking not only for trying to reduce their risk of pancreatic cancer but also to avoid susceptibility to other diseases.
