There is no known cause of prostate cancer so it is difficult to recommend any strategies to avoid getting the disease. Our best recommendation to prevent problems in men who do develop prostate cancer is through regular screening and exams as directed by your physician.

There is no strong data to say that increased or reduced sexual activity has any clear role in prostate cancer.
