- Traveler’s diarrhea, which is by far the most common risk and affects 20 to 50 percent of international travelers
- Enterotoxic E. coli diarrhea
- Malaria
- Acute febrile respiratory tract infections
- Hepatitis A
- Gonorrhea
- Animal bites with rabies risk
- Hepatitis B
- Typhoid fever
- HIV infection
- Meningococcal disease
