Bioterrorism/Disaster Center

Headed by Edward H. Jasper, MD, the Center for Bioterrorism and Disaster Preparedness is a federally funded program with a mission to provide continuing education to the nation’s healthcare workforce and to teach the public about emergency procedures.

The center runs the Recognition to Recovery (R2R) continuing education program. This program focuses on training, web-based education, drills and publications covering threats from deliberate or accidental biological, chemical and radiological events.
