Thomas Jefferson University Hospital is happy to help you prepare for the birth of your new baby with a full range of prenatal and educational classes for the entire family.  Our certified instructors teach important information about pregnancy,delivery, and parenting.

One Day Lamaze
A complete childbirth preparation course in one day.  Tour, lunch and parking included.

Childbirth Lamaze Series
Weekly classes for preparing for labor and delivery. Tour included.

Getting Ready for Baby
A one night workshop to help you and your family prepare for your new baby.

Beginning Breast Feeding
One-night class on basics of breast-feeding, pumping, storage and returning to work.

	Time:	6 p.m. to 8 p.m. - Offered twice each month

Sibling Class
One time class to prepare older children for their important role in being a big brother or sister.  Class is designed for children ages 3 to 8 yrs. Tour of maternity is included.

	Time:	10am to 12noon.  Offered six times a year.

	Fee:	$10.00 for one child/ 2or more children $5.00 each

Pediatrician's Night
One-time class with Pediatrician discussing issues concerning newborns and becoming a new parent.

Car Seat Safety
One-night class offering safe tips for buying, installing and using your car seat correctly.  A must for all parents, grandparents and caregivers!

Hospital Tours
A maternity tour is offered on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month. (No tours on Holidays or the Eve of the Holiday) The tour will include visits to the Delivery Room and the Maternal/Infant Unit.  Policies and procedures will be discussed.  Tour lasts approx. one hour.

Infant/Child CPR Class
Learn how to perform CPR on children from birth to 8 years old.
