Members of The Cardeza Foundation for Hematologic Research and The Division of Hematology are devoted to research into the causes of a wide variety of diseases of the blood and to the diagnosis and care of patients with blood and Ivmphatic diseases. Our members have competence in all areas of hematology, with particularly well recognized depth and experience in diseases affecting blood platelets, hemorrhagic (bleeding) and thrombotic (clotting) disorders, hematologic malignancies (leukemia, Iymphoma and multiple myeloma) and other bone marrow disorders. In addition, our physicians have initiated and participate in a number of clinical trials of newer types of therapy for many of these disorders. Our physicians are available on a 24 hour basis.
