Jefferson is committed to teaching not only state of the art medicine but also innovative, new medical practice in one of its many Centers of Excellence. This latter experience incorporates translational research into the patient care setting. Jefferson's growth in this regard is reflected in its #2 position nationally in the rate of growth in NIH funding for research over the past 10 years.
