Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation

Methodist Hospital’s Acute Rehabilitation Unit offers specialized programs for patients with neurologic, orthopedic, oncologic, medical or surgical impairments, and disabilities.

Most patients in the Acute Rehabilitation Unit receive a minimum of three hours of therapy each day. The gym and patient dining room are located in the Unit and all patients’ rooms are private.

Methodist Hospital’s Acute Rehabilitation Unit provides the emotional, social, vocational and psychological support needed to make the transition back to community life.
