Subacute Inpatient Rehabilitation
Patients
who are not ready to participate in an acute-level rehabilitation
program, and are too ill or injured to return to their residence,
benefit from the rehabilitation program provided at Methodist
Hospital Nursing Centers Subacute Rehabilitation Unit.
This transitional care setting, staffed by physicians, therapists
and nurses, allows patients to progress toward their individual
goal at his or her required pace.
The Subacute Rehabilitation Unit provides:
- Medical management
- Personalized rehabilitation programs
- Personal goal setting
- Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy
- Individual and group activities
- Emotional, social and vocational support
