Subacute Inpatient Rehabilitation

Therapist with Patient on StairsPatients who are not ready to participate in an acute-level rehabilitation program, and are too ill or injured to return to their residence, benefit from the rehabilitation program provided at Methodist Hospital Nursing Center’s Subacute Rehabilitation Unit. This transitional care setting, staffed by physicians, therapists and nurses, allows patients to progress toward their individual goal at his or her required pace.

The Subacute Rehabilitation Unit provides:
