Continence Management
Methodist Hospital offers unique and individualized treatment for bladder and bowel problems at our Women's Diagnostic Center. Each patient undergoes a comprehensive assessment to determine the cause and type of incontinence. An individualized treatment plan is then developed to help patients maximize control. The goal is to help individuals enjoy an active, full lifestyle without fear of embarrassment. Patients may be offered non-invasive methods such as- pelvic muscle rehabilitation, bio-feedback, bladder retraining, diet and fluid counseling, medication, and behavior modification.
