James Robinson Named Chief Administrative Officer for Methodist Hospital Division of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital

James E. Robinson has been named chief administrative officer for the Methodist Hospital Division of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.

Mr. Robinson was most recently vice president, Professional and Clinical Services at Methodist, a position he held since 1989. He also serves as a senior vice president at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

A graduate of LaSalle University, he received a bachelor of arts degree in psychology and a master of business administration. Before joining Methodist Hospital, he was assistant vice president for support services at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Camden, N.J.

Mr. Robinson is involved in several professional organizations including the American Hospital Association, Hospital Association of Pennsylvania, Greater Philadelphia Health Congress and Leadership, Inc. He currently serves as vice president of the Springfield Township School Board, where he was previously president. He is a member of the Flourtown/Erdenheim Little League Board and the Springfield Soccer Club Board and was recently named to the board of the Police Athletic League of Philadelphia.
