Men’s Health Day at Methodist Hospital

A Men’s Health Day featuring free seminars, health screenings, a health fair and lots more--designed especially to meet the needs of all men from the very young to the very old--will be held on Thursday, June 14, at Methodist Hospital in South Philadelphia.

Health professionals from the Methodist Hospital division of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital will be available to discuss medical concerns and provide nutrition and exercise information. They will also provide free screenings including cholesterol, PSA (for prostate cancer) and diabetes. In addition, participants will receive a free take-home EZ Detect colon-cancer screening kit. Door prizes, including a free membership to the fitness center at the Samuel S. Fels South Philadelphia Community Center, will be awarded.

Men’s Health Day will be held on Thursday, June 14, from 8:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Morgan Conference Center at Methodist Hospital, 2301 South Broad Street. For information, call 215-952-9000.
