No one is immune
(Published 03-10-2005, South Philadelphia Review)  Doctors and other healthcare professionals commonly see late season head colds, respiratory infections, stomach viruses and cases of the flu. Peter Honig, M.D., assistant director of general medicine, Methodist Hospital, says this is the season for all kinds of viruses.  "This time of year, the stresses on the immune system--change of temperatures, exposure to closed
environments--make you much more prone to any of these transmitted infections," he says.
