FREE Health Expo at Methodist Brings Entertainment and Health Screenings to Community on September 30, 2006
(Published 9-28-06) The Methodist Hospital Division, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital 2006 Annual Health Expo will feature entertainment and activities for adults and kids, a children's talent show (prior registration ended in August), FREE health screenings, and taping of the television show Happenings with WOGL personality Bob Pantano.
Methodist Hospital is First in Region to Offer New Tool for Early Breast Cancer Detection Breast Specific Gamma Imaging (BSGI) Test Requires No Breast Compression, Results Immediate (Published 6-13-06) Methodist Hospital Division of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital is now offering a newtool for the early detection of breast cancer called Breast Specific Gamma Imaging (BSGI). The hospital is the first in the Delaware Valley to provide this new technology to the community, which is available through its Women’s Diagnostic Center.
