The Department of Nursing, Jefferson College of Health Professions, Thomas Jefferson University and the Methodist Hospital School of Nursing, Methodist Hospital Division of Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, submitted a proposal to the PA Board of Nursing to replace the diploma nursing education program at Methodist Hospital School of Nursing with an associate degree program as of Fall 2004. The proposed associate degree program was considered by the PA Board of Nursing at its March 18 & 19, 2004 meeting and approved.
