Division of Neuro-Oncologic Neurosurgery and Stereotactic Radiosurgery
The Division of Neuro-Oncologic Neurosurgery and Stereotactic Radiosurgery was established within the Department of Neursurgery
in 1995 by David W. Andrews, MD, Professor of Neurosurgery, who is its Director. The Division’s mission is to provide neurosurgical
and/or radiosurgical care for patients with brain tumors, as well as to advance our knowledge of these abnormal masses of
tissue in the brain, including why they occur and new and innovative means of imaging and treating them.
