Our Team

Since 1984, the Jefferson Sleep Disorders Center has used a uniquely multi-disciplinary and comprehensive approach that reflects the often complex realities of sleep problems.

Our Center’s medical director is Karl Doghramji, MD, a Diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Doghramji works in collaboration with two additional physician sleep specialists - Dimitri Markov, MD, a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and Ritu Grewal, MD, who is Board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine – and a team of polysomnographic technicians and administrative staff, all of whom are committed to delivering superior patient care.

Because sleep disorders aren’t limited to one traditional medical discipline, our Center continually interacts with experts from other medical specialties – including psychiatry, psychology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, otolaryngology, pediatrics, neurology, internal medicine and pulmonary medicine.
