WHO: Alzheimer’s disease (AD) specialist Sam Gandy, M.D., Ph.D., is director of the Farber Institute for Neurosciences at Thomas
Jefferson University and professor of neurology, and biochemistry and molecular pharmacology at Jefferson Medical College.
He is an internationally recognized expert in the molecular biology of Alzheimer’s disease, especially on the sticky substance
called amyloid that builds up in the Alzheimer’s brain.
